1961 CADILLAC BROUGHAM 'JACQUELINE' by PININFARINA

izradjen kao jedan jedini primjerak od strane Pininfarine prvenstveno kao prijedlog Cadillacu a i kao svojevrsni Homage prema JACQUELINE BOUVIER KENNEDY supruzi tada tek izabranog Americkog predsjednika J.F.Kennedy .

Vozilo je dozivjelo premijeru u Parizu iste godine i od tada je bilo izlozeno u Farininom muzeju te se povremeno prikazivalo na ciljanim sajmovima .Sredinom 90-ih studija je prodana kolekcionaru u SAD . Interesantno je da u vozilu nije bilo nikakvih mehanickih komponenti - motora , ovjesa , upravljackog mehanizma , kocnica itd... i tako cijelih 30 godina . Novi vlasnik se potrudio da vozilo osposobi za voznju te je u njega ugradio Series 62 V8 motor sa 325 KS iz modela Eldorado Biarritz , te ostale komponente potrebne za voznju .

2007 je ponudjen na prodaju putem aukcionarske kuce Monterey Sports & Classic Car po pocetnoj cijeni od 260.000 dolara .... i nikad nije prodat jer je ciljana cijena bila 450.000 dolara .

Dobra strana je sto je Cadillac iskoristio dosta idejnih rjesenja sa ovog koncepta iz 60-tih za svoja vozila ...

Cadillac Pininfarina --- odličan je, jednostavno nema dizajna bez Italije, bez obzira šta netko volio od nas, Talijani prave najljepše automobile. Zagato, Italdesign, Pininfarina, Ghia, Bertone .... :cool:

A few years ago, one the most exclusive German automobile makes was revived, why not organize a joint project together once again, just like in the old days?

After several optimization of the Maybach type 12 engine, the cubic capacity was increased from 5.6 to 5.9 liters and the turbo charge optimized. The result was convincing: on the test bed almost 700 hp and at least 1,000 newton meters of torque were recorded, sufficient to achieve the targeted maximum speed of 350 km/h.The final test measurements at the end of April/beginning of May 2005, once again on the high speed Motodrom Nardo, then produced the well-earned success of lost of hard work: a top speed of 351,45 km/h - a world record for limousines – on standard tires.
