To obtain a key for Age of Empires Online:

1. Sign into Xbox.com
2. Go to the AoEO page and "buy" the free game.
3. Download and install the Games for Windows Marketplace Client. Then run and sign in to the program.
4. Select the "Downloads" tab, find and select the Age of Empires Online game
5. Hit "view game keys" to show the product key.
